LOTS OF FUN STUFF

A few weeks ago, we painted our living room! We love the green!

Then we went on a cruise in the caribbean!

We stopped in Calica, Mexico and went to this amazing resort. It was soooo hot, but we had the water to cool us off.

Then we snorkeled in a lagoon.

Jack took a golf lesson on the ship one day.

Here are some pics from the last night. The guys got to play out on the deck. And Mike and Jake livened up the last song.

After the cruise, we got to go to Nashville to visit the fam. I wish I had gotten more pictures. But of course most of them were of Audrey. I just can't help taking pictures of the cutest baby in the world!

Love you, Mary!

We had a LOST season finale party!

Fun at the pool.. At first Audrey didn't like the water...

but she warmed up to it.

We got to celebrate our 1 year anniversary with everyone by sharing our wedding cake! It still tasted amazing after a year.

Back home, we celebrated our 1st anniversary at home (on June 1st) - Jack bought me flowers, we went to dinner at Maggiano's, then went to a movie. And our gifts to one another? DVR for our tv! Yeah!

We can hardly believe it's been a year since we got married. But what a year it has been! Marriage is amazing, and God has blessed us so much. Thank you all, family and friends, for supporting and loving us! We're so thankful for all of you. We love you!

Love,
Jack & Whit

JACK'S B-DAY & TRIBUTE TO THE TOUR

Monday, May 19, 2008
Jack's 23rd birthday was on May 5th! We got home from the tour and had tons of people over to celebrate. Good thing we're out of that apartment! There's no way everyone could have fit. We were only missing family and friends back in Franklin!

Well, since we really haven't posted many pictures from the tour with Casting Crowns, we thought we would do a little tribute. Here are some highlights from the 89 city tour.

This is what happens in the bus when you run out of bowls - you have to eat cereal in tiny cups.

This is Mark - he painted this amazing painting every night. We got to help him with one.

Things we did on the bus...

When we wanted to get out of the bus, we walked around and explored.

The guys liked to play soccer.

Our bunks are our quiet places... or, as Mama Cyndy puts it, our 'personal coffins.'

Most of the time, the girls got dressed on the bus - in the tiny (and i mean tiny) bathrooom.

Last day - writing thank you notes to the band and crew.

Classic Darryl.

Everyday, we had a devotion with everyone and then prayed over the seats.

Us and Mark. We love him.

Me and Lilly, Meghan's (from Casting Crowns) daughter. She's adorable.

The last night was full of pranks, including the crew wrapping and hoisting the guys' gear up in the air.

Mike and Jake went on stage like this. And unfortunately I don't have a picture of Jack when he danced onstage (I was recording a video of it). But it was amazing.

So, that's it! It was a long but fun tour. Now it's time for the crazy summer. First, a caribbean cruise - not bad!

P.S. This is our new favorite picture. We love our niece!
