JACK'S B-DAY & TRIBUTE TO THE TOUR

Monday, May 19, 2008
Jack's 23rd birthday was on May 5th! We got home from the tour and had tons of people over to celebrate. Good thing we're out of that apartment! There's no way everyone could have fit. We were only missing family and friends back in Franklin!

Well, since we really haven't posted many pictures from the tour with Casting Crowns, we thought we would do a little tribute. Here are some highlights from the 89 city tour.

This is what happens in the bus when you run out of bowls - you have to eat cereal in tiny cups.

This is Mark - he painted this amazing painting every night. We got to help him with one.

Things we did on the bus...

When we wanted to get out of the bus, we walked around and explored.

The guys liked to play soccer.

Our bunks are our quiet places... or, as Mama Cyndy puts it, our 'personal coffins.'

Most of the time, the girls got dressed on the bus - in the tiny (and i mean tiny) bathrooom.

Last day - writing thank you notes to the band and crew.

Classic Darryl.

Everyday, we had a devotion with everyone and then prayed over the seats.

Us and Mark. We love him.

Me and Lilly, Meghan's (from Casting Crowns) daughter. She's adorable.

The last night was full of pranks, including the crew wrapping and hoisting the guys' gear up in the air.

Mike and Jake went on stage like this. And unfortunately I don't have a picture of Jack when he danced onstage (I was recording a video of it). But it was amazing.

So, that's it! It was a long but fun tour. Now it's time for the crazy summer. First, a caribbean cruise - not bad!

P.S. This is our new favorite picture. We love our niece!
